Anacortes is a small, pristine, town on Fidalgo Island and is known as the gateway to the San Juan Islands. Anacortes has many marinas, fine restaurants and specialty shops. It has a large newer library and the schools are ranked some of the best in the state. The community is active in supporting and maintaining a high quality of life. Anacortes City owns hundreds of acres of forestlands which are open to the public for recreational purposes. You can walk for miles on the trails maintained by the city. Anacortes has more parks then many larger towns. Recreational opportunities abound here.

There are many beautiful view and waterfront homes and wonderful neighborhoods for families. There are also condos and townhouses available for those that don't want to do any maintenance. For more information please contact me. Anacortes has wonderful events throughout the year. The most attended events are the Anacortes Arts Festival, Waterfront Festival, Shipwreck Day, Oyster Run and First Friday Art Walks to name a few.

The weather is milder and we have less rainfall then Seattle because Fidalgo Island lies within the Olympic Mountain rain shadow.
